MMICC 2013 marks the 13th year of the competition’s history. Having been founded in 2001, MMICC has evolved over the years, continuously incorporating new ideas into the competition’s format. This year, we are proud to announce yet more exciting changes.
To start, an extra day will be added this year, extending MMICC week from 5 days to 6 days. This means that case crack period will be extended from 24 hours to 32 hours beginning at 10am on Day 4 and ending at 6pm on Day 5. The primary motivation behind this change is so that teams will not only have adequate time to perform a high caliber case crack, but also be well rested for the presentation and the closing ceremonies that follow on Day 6.As well, we will be introducing the MMICC International Team this year. This team will be made up of one representative from four of the ten participating universities – individuals who have never met will compete together come March! The executive committee of MMICC 2013 are working hard to add another exciting chapter to this competition’s history.
